

Thailand and Korea trip
It's been almost two years since we visited Thailand. We flew Korean Air and transferred in Seoul. 25 hours to Bangkok. The air was hot and humid. Luckily we didn't hit so much traffic on the way to our Airbnb. We settled into our 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment in the heart of Bangkok. Spring '26
This spring has been mostly cold, which I love. Many things happened from mid-March to the end of April. Sarah was back for one week of spring break. Grace held a cocktail birthday party that benefited No Kid Hungry and Direct Relief. We raised $3925 from this event. Warm time in the cold winter
We started the year 2026 with very cold weather. It was the coldest winter since I can remember living in New York City. Two big snowstorms and frigid temperature plus wind created mounds and mounds of snow. When it snowed, the city was beautiful. The streets were quiet; you could only hear the howling wind that came with big flakes of snow. White snow covered the ground and made everything white and clean. Holiday '25
We had our first Christmas/holidays dinner on Saturday the 13th at Dawit's place. Sarah came back from college and went straight from the airport. A few days later, we hosted a Hanukkah dinner party at our house. Hanukkah came early in December 2025, starting on December 14th and ending on the 22nd. We invited a few friends over on the 14th. On Friday the 19th, we went to the Lowell hotel on the upper east side. We met Jenn, Dawit, and Kurt, it was cozy and perfect for start
