Labor Day Weekend

We got a new smoker and made brisket for Labor day BBQ. David made an out of this world brisket and homemade bbq sauce to go with it. I made a chocolate cake with salted caramel cream cheese buttercream. Mike and Tara brought some homegrown fresh sweet corns and cooked them fresh at the BBQ. We also made potato salad, bean salad, coleslaw, peach sangria, steak, grilled salmon. Even though It rained toward the end of the day, we had such a great time with friends and family, what a great way to end the summer. We're already looking forward to the nice cool crisp air of the Fall.
