A lot has happened between March and May; this post is mostly about Sarah.

We traveled to Boston for the ISU World Ice Skating Championships Boston 2025. We saw the men's free skating competition and the champions showcase.
We got cannolis and lobster tail pastries from Mike's Pastry We also had some clam chowder and lobster rolls from a seafood restaurant nearby. We walked around Quincy Market, and Sarah got to slide down a famous slide from TikTok (Cop Slide).
Robin came to New York, and we had a get-together with Andrew, Katie, Dawit and Kurt.
March marked a second round of college decisions. Sarah applied to 10 colleges and got accepted into 8. We traveled to visit Syracuse and the University of Rochester for accepted student events. After the visit, the University of Rochester became one of her top choices. The Rochester campus was beautiful, and the students seemed to be happy, but there was no ice skating rink or skiing nearby, and it's in New York, where she grew up. May 1st marked the day she needed to confirm where she wanted to be in the fall. It was between McGill in Canada and the University of Colorado at Boulder, and she went with Boulder, considering the weather, the campus, and, mostly, the on-site ice skating rink, it's close to great skiing, and the school's mascot is pretty cool too. We both loved Colorado as a place to live, and Sarah is going to experience life outside New York City. We are jealous of how amazing her college life experience will be.

May 16th Sarah's prom night Alex came early for a photo shoot by Kamila and Marcin. The weather was hot, and the rain had already passed.

Big thanks to Kamila Sedziak and Marcin for all these wonderful pictures.
May 17th was her 18th birthday. After prom night, Sarah had a karaoke party to celebrate her big day with Alex, Swayne, Leo, Jacob, Victoria, Liz and Willa.
On May 18th, Sarah had to wake up early to go to Sky Rink for a group skating show, and then she rushed back home to get ready for four dance shows from 2-9pm at PMT Dance. What a trooper! We're so proud of her commitment.

May 20th, celebrated Sarah's birthday at Sushi by M We ordered the Omakase with two appetizers and one M torotaku handroll/Chef's Choice. It was the best sushi we've had in a long time. We got bubble tea and matcha ice cream for dessert after.
On May 23rd, I went to the New York County Clerk on 141 Worth Street to witness Kamila and Marcin's marriage. After 24 years, they finally did it. Congratulations!
May 23rd was also Sarah's last day of studying at Avenues School. She had been at the school for more than a decade, 13 years to be precise. She is ready to move on to a new chapter in her adult life. We went to her school for the clap-out. The seniors walked down from the 10th floor to the lobby of the school with all students and teachers lined up for the final clap-out and goodbye.

May 30th was Sarah's graduation day. We were thrilled to celebrate a big milestone for her. After the graduation, she had to run to New Jersey for Alex's prom night. WOW! So much has happened, and we are ready to relax and enjoy our summer together before she starts college at the end of August. Sarah and I are going to Seoul, Jeju, and Busan, and we are super excited about that.

Kamila took all these great pictures before we left for Pier 60.

From winter to spring, there were many memorable moments, from Sarah's college decision to prom, birthdays, and graduation. Fun times and good food with friends and family. We couldn't ask for anything better.
